Plans

Note

In order to access the Cyber Range, an organization must choose a plan with one or more of the services provided. Within the billing menu, billing admins can manage an organization’s plan. For more information about getting started as a billing admin, please see the section titled Getting Started for Billing Admins.

Viewing Plans and Billing Information

  1. In order to view plan and billing information, you must be a billing administrator for your organization. If you do not know who your billing administrator is, please contact your organization administrator.

  2. You can view the plan and invoice information by navigating to your organization homepage in the Exercise Area of the Cyber Range. Once you are there, simply click on the Manage subscriptions and invoices icon as shown in the image below. This will allow you to view the plan, invoice, and usage information of your organization.

    The Manage subscriptions and invoices icon is located in the top right of the screen.

  3. Below is a screenshot of the billing menu that displays the subscriptions and invoices linked to each one. To view and print the details of an invoice, simply click the gear icon located to the left of the invoice ID. For more information on viewing and printing invoices, please see the section titled Getting Started for Billing Admins.

Understanding Plan Types

Flat Rate Plans

Note

Our Flat Rate Plans have the option of enabling User Direct Pay, which allows organization to distribute the costs of the Cyber Range to their users. This feature is currently only available to our Flat Rate Plans. Please see our article titled User Direct Pay for more information.

Our Flat Rate plans allow for a much simpler billing and course experience in the Cyber Range. There are no usage costs associated with our Flat Rate plans, so you don't have to worry about monthly costs being inconsistent. Our plans allow for organizations to better estimate and predict their monthly costs. Below is a table detailing the features and enrollment costs for each of our Flat Rate plans.

Flex Rate Plans

Flex Rate plans provide maximum flexibility with less restriction on the number of environments can educator can deploy. Unlike our Flat Rate plans, Flex Rate plans come with additional costs based on resource utilization ("Cloud Usage"). Cloud Usage is based on Exercise Environment usage, cloud storage, and compute costs for all virtual machines that are provisioned for users. Monthly costs can fluctuate depending on the amount of cloud usage accumulated by your organization. Below is a table detailing the features and estimated costs for each of our Flex Rate Plans.
