Exercise Environment Search Feature

Abstract

When adding exercise environments to your course, you can search for a specific exercise environment that meets your course's needs. This article will guide you through the process of utilizing the serarch bar feature when browsing exercise environments.

Once logged in to the U.S. Cyber Range, open the course to which you would like to add an exercise environment. Within your course, click "Create an Exercise Envrionment".

The "Create an Exercise Environment" button is located below the "Edit Course" button.

Create Exercise Environment Page

On the Create Exercise Environment page, you can scroll through available environments or utilize the filters to help narrow down your search. The search bar is located on the top of the page, above the filters.

The search bar is directly above the Environment Types filter.

You can use the search bar to find a specific exercise environment. Type keywords for the environment you are searching for, and all matching results will populate underneath the search bar.

Matching results for your search query are shown underneath the search bar.

Once you find the environment you are searching for, click on it to make any necessary edits to the environment information. Then, click "Confirm" to add the environment to your course.

The "Confirm" button is located towards the bottom of the screen, to the right of the "Cancel" button.

You have now used the search bar to add an exercise environment to your Cyber Range course!
