What Are the CPU and Memory Settings of My Range Virtual Machines… and Can I Get More?¶

Most virtual machines on the Range are configured with 1 vCPU and 1GB of RAM, except in special cases arranged in advance. This setup is sufficient for most training-related sessions but may cause issues with resource-intensive applications (e.g., OpenVAS), which should be avoided whenever possible.

If you require a more powerful virtual machine, please Submit a Support Ticket with technical justification of your request. We will evaluate your needs and determine whether we can accommodate them.
